The Online Learning Innovation Showcase provides you with even more content to support your online teaching efforts. OLIS offers cross-campus professional development opportunities focused on innovation in online learning, in a virtual format featuring a series of webinars and online workshops. Presenters and participants will share creative approaches, personal experiences, and best practices surrounding online learning and teaching technologies in order to improve student outcomes. OLIS sessions are typically offered on Fridays.
Here are just a few of the sessions we will be offering in Fall 2021:
- September – Student Engagement (on 9/24; topic and description coming soon!) – Join Dr. Anneliese Bolland of the College of Communication and Information Sciences to see how she engages her online students.
- October – Flexing Flipgrid: There’s More to Flipgrid Than Intro Discussions (on 10/25) – Learn creative approaches for using this free tool.
